Sluis bij De Haandrik

Since July 9 (2015) the lock at De Haandrik is open again. Boats can therefore sail on the Vecht to Emlichheim.

The lock was renovated over the past three years and is set up for small ships.

Waterschap Vechtstromen and the municipality of Hardenberg manage he lock together. During the season the lock will be operated between 09.00 and 17.00 on every hour.
